A long simmering idea has exploded across my mindscape this November: a collection of stories about the northern NH town of Ville de Rasoir – Razor Town. I’m trying to capture enough of it now (writing the third story) so I can focus on revising The Hard Six. At present I have another short story near ready to write after The Thing in the Box and the seeds of a novella to bookend the collection. I can’t say much about it yet, but I will suggest the Methodist Ladies Organization isn’t what it seems and the local tree farmer is nicknamed Odd for a reason.
