The Fiction of Forking Paths: Weird Horror and Spec-Lit from Latin-, Afro-, and other non-Anglo Traditions

12 Sep The Fiction of Forking Paths: Weird Horror and Spec-Lit from Latin-, Afro-, and other non-Anglo Traditions

The Outer Dark Symposium 2019 was a wonderful experience all around and I was fortunate enough to sit on a panel discussing “The Fiction of Forking Paths: Weird Horror and Spec-Lit from Latin-, Afro-, and other non-Anglo Traditions.” In a beautiful moment of synchronicity, I was able to demonstrate my bonafides with a recent purpose of High John the Conqueror root (for use in hoodoo, of course). The panel was moderated by Balogun Ojetade & featured Tiptree Award winning Gabriela DamiánMilton Davis, Kyoko M (She Who Writes Monsters), Lesley Wheeler & Scott Nicolay (along with myself).

Click here to listen to the panel as well as readings by Selena Chambers, Ed Hall and Larissa Glasser.
