29 Dec WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF? Yule Episode

I was delighted to reprise my guest appearance on this year’s Yuletide episode of What Are You Afraid Of, which featured my original flash fiction story of holiday horror, “The Worm of Poe.”

DESCRIPTION: THE THREE GHOSTS – EP30 of What Are You Afraid Of? Horror & Paranormal Show on PARA-X RADIO on Fridays 9PM & available for download on iHeartRadio, iTunes and all major podcast services.

Author John Foster joins T. Fox Dunham & Phil Thomas for the last episode of 2016, celebrating and discussing A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the most famous ghost story in the English language. They discuss its history and relevance to Victorian poverty—and the poverty of the present. They each read a passage from the book, playing one of the three ghosts. They also talk about their holiday traditions and the busy life of an Indie author.

“Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses? Humbug!”

The Weird Globe, true ghost story, tells the tale of a supernatural encounter on a wintery morning. John Foster shares a new flash fiction piece for the season, The Worm of Poe, a dark story about how Christmas traditions can get insanely out of hand. Derek Clegg ends the show with an eccentric song called I’m Not Drinking for Christmas. Happy holidays, and we’ll see you in 2017 with more darkness. Twitter: @pfwhatafraidof
